Sonisense — Daniel

Translating data into sensory experience.

About

Daniel Gochev is a London-based Creative Technologist, Experience Designer, and the founder of sonisense.london. Graduating with First-Class Honours from Central Saint Martins (BA Graphic Communication Design), his practice bridges the physical and digital worlds, translating complex data and hidden natural systems into interactive, multi-sensory human experiences.

Originally from Macedonia, Daniel's background heavily shapes his unique perspective on sensory storytelling. Coming from a culture rich in vibrant oral traditions, deep soundscapes, and close-knit community interaction, he is fascinated by how objects can communicate beyond standard digital screens. This foundation drives his obsession with data sonification and physical computing, using sound, light, and tactile mechanics to make invisible data tangible.

As a self-taught systems programmer and hardware fabricator, Daniel works fluidly across physical prototyping and real-time software deployment. His core technical stack includes Arduino, Raspberry Pi, TouchDesigner, PureData, and Ableton Live. Whether engineering custom internal circuitry, routing raw timber enclosures, or debugging interactive generative pipelines, he focuses on building purpose-driven objects that engage, teach, and connect with people in physical spaces.
